The Peter and Paul Fortress is the original citadel of St. Petersburg, Russia, founded by Peter the Great in 1703 and built to Domenico Trezzini's designs from 1706 to 1740 as a star fortress.
Today it has been adapted as the central and most important part of the State Museum of Saint Petersburg History.
For the first time in Russia, the Pixilab Blocks system, an integrated content and hardware management system, was used in the Museum of Science and Technology in the Peter and Paul Fortress. The concept, artistic solution, multimedia systems and content for the museum are the work of INTmedia specialists.
The multimedia system based on the Pixilab Blocks software allows you to distribute films and information materials from one server, quickly and at a distance (via the Internet) change content on all twelve multimedia screens, information tablets, and speaker systems.
In the morning, the content starts and turns off in the evening on a timer; museum staff do not need to master a complex technical system in order to work with it.
